Our Philosophy

This site celebrates birth, breastfeeding and bonding--all rights and essentials for mothers and families everywhere.  Sometimes people have to overcome barriers to accomplish their goals, and we are here to help moms get on track, or enable them to stay on track, by offering support, advice, education and referrals.  We advocate for the mother's birthing rights and for the breastfeeding dyad.  

It is true that "people do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care."  The way to change the tide of birthing and breastfeeding in this country is to help moms, one baby at a time...We have been mentored by selfless women that have  taught us how to improve our services and we desire to perpetuate their philosophy. Our goal is not only to serve women, but to empower others to be servants as well.

Certified Lactation Educator Classes

On-going trainings offer opportunities for individuals to become Certified Lactation Educators through the CAPPA CLE Program. Christy Jo is CAPPA CLE Faculty and is happy to offer this quality training. Training fulfills the US Core Competencies and Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Requirements. Check for current CAPPA CLE training offered in California, or email BBB to inquire about on-site training. 

Doula Services

Need the perfect gift?  Give the gift of a Doula to your prenatal daughter, sister, friend or coworker.  A labor coach and support person eases anxiety and creates the environment for a more satisfying birth experience. Birth is a memorable event that deserves special attention.  A birth attendant is trained to offer non-medical comfort measures, support and education during this special time.

Doulas are additional comfort and support, even for planned C-sections.  Contact Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding for an initial interview.

Postpartum doulas are equipped and prepared to "mother the mother."  A postpartum doula allows a new mom to have support nearby while she builds confidence, merges into her role as mother and recovers from birth.  Birth and Postpartum Doula Packages are available. 

Breastfeeding & Childbirth Classes

There is no better time to learn about breastfeeding and birth than during the prenatal period.  Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding offers English or Spanish classes in the privacy of your own home.  Check out the list of classes currently being offered. 

3B Publishing

3B Publishing was created to ensure quality educational and promotional material depicting normal birth and breastfeeding is available. So often the mainstream press overlooks important publications that deserve and need to be produced to benefit the general public.  3B Publishing produces curriculum, periodicals and books that pertain to birthing, bonding and breastfeeding.  Mommy Feeds Baby, a new children's book that normalizes breastfeeding, is now available in nglish and Spanish. Its popularity is changing the way society views breastfeeding. Over 10,000 copies have been sold.

Lactation Services

Whether you need breastfeeding assistance, or want to become a Lactation Consultant yourself, we have resources for you.  

If you are ready to take the first step in lactation education, consider taking the CLE Course.  This three day intensive gives a great overview of lactation and is the first step to earning the Lactation Educator Certification.

Breastfeeding Cafes

Looking for a place to sip on some coffee and have a cup of conversation?  There is a  Breastfeeding Cafe brewing in Banning, California.  The Group is hosted by moms that are also Clinical Lactation Specialists.  Topics such as: parenting, breastfeeding and newborn care are discussed.  It's also a great way to get out of the house for some adult conversation.  We would love to have you visit the Banning BF Cafe, started by Christy Jo and facilitated by her GOO Graduates.  Current facilitator is Colie Palmer, Certified Lactation Specialist.  Find the Banning Breastfeeding Cafe on Facebook.
